Pulmonary hypertension

First image shows the frontal radiograph of a patient who developed pulmonary hypertension secondary to COPD. There is enlargement and abrupt tapering of the right and left pulmonary arteries (arrows). Axial contrast enhanced CT (second image) shows enlargement of the main pulmonary artery (P) which has a larger diameter than the ascending aorta (A).
