Subchapter: Neck (Read entire chapter)

Diagnosis: Sialolithiasis
CT topogram (upper row, with magnification to the right) and contrast enhanced CT of the neck demonstrate a large ovoid shaped calcification in the right sublingual space, representing a sialolith within the Wharton’s duct. About 80-95% of sialoliths occur within the submandibular gland or duct.
