Diagnosis: Parenchymal hemorrhage and subdural hematoma - acuteThis axial noncontrast head CT demonstrates an acute subdural hematoma overlying the left frontal lobe (black full arrows). The hematoma is subdural because it is contained by the falx cerebri and does not cross to the contralateral side (dotted black arrow). Also noticed is acute blood with associated edema in the left frontal brain parenchyma (white arrow).
