Diagnosis: Skull fracture with epidural hematoma - acuteAxial noncontrast CT of the head demonstrates convex hyperdense fluid collections along both frontal lobes, compatible with acute epidural hematomas. Epidural hematomas are often associated with skull fractures – as in this case where we can see a temporal bone fracture (white arrow, right top image). Fracture line can be also seen on the CT topogram (lower image, arrows). The left hematoma is a coup hematoma and the right one a contracoup epidural hematoma.
