Diagnosis: Temporal bone fracture with pneumocephalusAxial (A) and coronal reformatted (B) CT of the temporal bones demonstrates a nondisplaced fracture of the right temporal bone located posterior to the mastoid air cells (white arrows). This fracture line extends into the mastoid air cells. Some mastoid air cells are fluid filled – likely from blood (best appreciated on panel B). An about 1 cm focus of gas is present within the posterior cranial fossa adjacent to the right cerebellar hemisphere (black arrows).
