Diagnosis: Extraperitoneal bladder perforation
CT of the pelvis after retrogradeinstillation of water soluable contrast material through a foley catheter demonstrates extravasation of contrast into the perivesicular space. The leak is extraperitoneal since extravasated contrast is limited to the lateral paravesicular fascial planes of the pelvis.
